For the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, mdw for short, we created a fresh, exciting format for invited guests and paying audiences: an unusual, bold and exciting showcase of music, theatre and film. The performance is an artful journey to discover and experience the diversity of the mdw. The event offers a young and innovative programme on several stages at the same time. Some 16 programme points with around 200 artists invited prominent names from art and culture, graduates, alumni and young students of the university. All visitors moved freely through the individual event spaces and enjoyed appetising morsels of diversity from the Music University, Reinhard Seminar and Film Academy. At a later hour, the programme swung into a more relaxed nighttime track....

The spotlight is on the young up-and-coming talents with their outstanding performances and palpable enthusiasm for their passion.

The Casinos Austria Rising Star Award for promising young artists was presented 3 times at aufspiel. The top-class jury of experts chose the winners in a multi-stage selection process.
